 In Uncategorized

The Lower Columbia Initiatives Corporation is thrilled to be supporting our partners, Kootenay Association for Science and Technology (KAST), Columbia Basin Trust (CBT) and Nelson and Area Economic Development Partnership (NAEDP), in bringing the Kootenay House to the BCTechSummit this year! The House will be an excellent opportunity for Kootenay tech companies and organizations to showcase our talents and expertise to the rest of the province.

The House will feature 5 Kootenay businesses in a custom geodesic dome for the duration of the conference! Featured businesses include: ThoughtExchange, Cronometer, PixelCents, Kodiak Measurement Services, and Columbia Lake Technology Centre. For more information on these companies and Kootenay House click here. Of course, our Executive Director, Terry Van Horn, will be there representing Metal Tech Alley too! Be sure to connect with her at the Kootenay House!

The Kootenay House will also host a party on  Tuesday, March 12, 5-7pm! Attendees of the conference can attend the Kootenay House Party on Tuesday, March 12 at 5-7pm. Featuring Kootenay beer, food, music and a chance to talk with Kootenay companies. Identify yourself to KAST as a proud Kootenarian and we’ll get you a #Kootenaytech T-shirt and drink tickets so you can share how awesome the Kootenays are with other attendees. Huge thanks to event sponsors: ImagineKootenay, Kootenay Craft Co, Fernie Alpine Resort, Isosceles, Selkirk College, Pixel Cents Software and Whitewater Ski Resort.
